Screens & Halftones
(Example: Black and white photographs, screen tints and gradient screens) 0% to 100% utilizing 150 line screen. For best reproduction quality, orders with screens must be supplied electronically.

Artwork
Prices based on computer generated artwork supplied in digital format usable by Magna-Plus (see Artwork Requirements). If computer-generated artwork is not available in usable digital format, please send camera-ready artwork (color separated and composite) suitable for offset printing (NOT silk screening). Drawings, letterhead, photocopies, faxes and business cards are NOT considered camera-ready artwork! $20(F) setup charge if digital artwork not provided; $20(F) setup charge if any type has to be added or reset by Magna-Plus. Typesetting of more than 10 lines is subject to artwork charges billed hourly. NO setup charge if artwork provided in usable digital format. DO NOT SUPPLY NEGATIVES! Final printed artwork should be at least 1200 dpi; if you must send 300 dpi or 600 dpi laser output, provide print at 200% of actual size. Magna-Plus reserves the right to refuse any order based on artwork which will not yield a finished product which meets the quality of standards you expect. We can produce artwork, billed at $45(G) per hour. Type style selection, unless indicated, is left to our discretion. All artwork, whether customer-supplied or factory-produced, MUST be proofed by the customer.

Photo Scanning
Customer should supply photos to the approximate size requested on the magnet. Larger photos may be acceptable; some photo quality may be lost if smaller photos supplied. Photos with both dark hair and dark backgrounds are not recommended. Slides and transparencies may also be supplied for scanning. A scan fee will not apply if photos are supplied in usable digital format to size at 300 dpi. (Line screen = 150)

Proofs
Email Proofs: Most orders will be proofed via email with a .pdf file. This will show color representation and breakdown, but is not a color-accurate proofing system. We cannot match on press output from laser or inkjet printers or what you view on your computer screen. Fax Proofs: Proofs will not be faxed unless authorized in writing by factory. Printed Prototype Proof: Printed Prototype Proofs: Actual printed samples can be produced (4 Color Process) at a cost of $60(G) each, and can be generated as quickly as three days from receipt of your artwork. Other proofing methods are available; contact factory for details and applicable charges. Custom die-cut jobs will be cut by hand until final artwork is accepted. Printed proofs are sent via overnight shipping; shipping and handling for proof will be billed to you.

Artwork and Copy Errors
While we will make every effort to ensure accuracy, orders submitted incorrectly or proofed incorrectly by the customer or distributor are not the responsibility of Magna-Plus. Magna-Plus assumes no liability for trademark or copyright infringement. Distributors are expected to have proper authorizations to print all artwork submitted prior to placing an order with the manufacturer. Due to technological updates in art and manufacturing processes, repeat orders may not be exact.

PMS Color Match
$30(C) - Slight variations in ink may occur when printed onto raw material, but every effort will be made to achieve color match.

PMS Color Build
$10(G) - A color build is a blend of the 4 colors used in process printing (Magenta, Cyan, Yellow, and Black). An approximate build can be made for most PMS colors. Slight variations in ink may occur when printed onto raw material, but every effort will be made to achieve color match.

Bar Codes and Consecutive Numbering
Special numbering and bar coding is available on any product in this catalog. Call or write for pricing and styles. While we make every effort to insure correct numbering, we cannot be responsible for missing numbers.

Production Schedule
Production schedules are indicated throughout this website for individual items. Production times are from the date of artwork approval. Purchase order MUST accompany artwork in order for production to begin in a timely manner.

Rush Orders
Rush orders will be accepted based on production schedule; however, rush service may not always be available. See production schedules throughout the website for each item. Contact us if faster service is required. It may be necessary to ship and bill for an expedited ship method to meet your required in-hands date.

Changes/Cancellations
Customer will be assessed all charges associated with a changed or canceled order.

Verbal Orders
Verbal orders will not be accepted. We will not be responsible for verbal orders.

Overruns/Underruns
Plus or minus 5%. Exact quantities add 5% to total cost. You will be billed for the quantity shipped! NO EXCEPTIONS!

Coop Programs
All coop programs must be factory authorized prior to submitting the initial order.

Terms
Net 30 days unless otherwise noted. Late charges assessed at 1.5% per month.

Packaging
Bulk, unless otherwise noted on purchase order. Special packaging charges will be quoted per job.

Shipping Weight
Shipping charges are calculated by product weight. 1000 25 mil business card magnets (2 x 3 1/2) weigh approximately 18 pounds and 1000 30 mil business card magnets (2 x 3 1/2) weight approximately 22 lbs.

Split Shipments
For 1-8 locations $5.00(G) per location; for 9-15 locations $3.00(G) per location; for 16 or more locations $2.50(G) per location.

FOB
Kansas factory. Please specify shipment method you desire; if nothing is selected, factory will select best way. Customer assumes ownership of the product upon acceptance by carrier.

Shipping & Handling
Prepay and charge. Expedited shipping methods available for an additional charge. Orders shipped third party freight will incur handling charges. All changes in shipping methods must be requested in writing.

Returns and Liability
Factory must be notified prior to returning any merchandise. For any type of credit, merchandise must be returned to factory. Adjustments will not be authorized for products over 30 days old. Liability is limited to a refund or replacement of the product at factory discretion. Factory’s liability shall in no way include special or consequential damages which includes profits or profits lost.
